CENTER-392 Integrating Sound Level Meter (IEC 61672-1 class 2)
In contrast to cheaper sound level meters, this device can measure the LEQ according to IEC61672. Most sound level meters can measure the sound level with time weighting F (fast) or S (slow).
However, in practical measurements, integrating sound levels are most important. Integrating means energy equivalent averaging. This calculation differs from a simple arithmetic average.
